How it works

From catalog to running app.

  1. Pick an app and a plan

Browse the catalog, compare plans, and choose the one that fits.

  2. Pay

Subscribe securely — we never see or store your card, our payment provider does.

  3. Your app is live

It runs at yourslug.poof.run, secured with HTTPS — manage it anytime from your account.

Infrastructure

How it actually runs.

  • Shared machines, isolated containers On a shared plan, your app runs in its own containers on a server in the EU — it never touches another customer’s data.

  • One certificate, every subdomain Traefik terminates HTTPS with a single wildcard certificate, so every app gets it automatically.

  • From order to live Pay, and the panel provisions your app on a server, checks it's healthy, and brings it online — no manual step.

  • A machine of your own Choose a dedicated plan and your app gets a server no other customer shares, in the region you pick, in the EU or the US. See the roadmap

What's included

Hosting, handled. Nothing to configure.

  • HTTPS includedEvery app gets a trusted certificate on its own subdomain, automatically — nothing to request or renew.

  • Updates without downtimeNew versions of your app roll out while it keeps serving traffic.

  • EU by defaultShared plans run in Frankfurt. A dedicated server runs in the region you pick, in the EU or the US.

  • We watch it around the clockAutomated health checks keep an eye on your app, day and night.

  • Pause and resume with billingMiss a payment and your app is suspended, not deleted — pay again and it's back, unchanged.

  • Cancel anytimeCancel whenever you like; your app keeps running until the period you've already paid for ends.

Coming next

On the roadmap, and what's already here.

  • Backups and restore Available

We copy your app's data at least once a week and around every stop, upgrade and deletion, and keep each copy for 30 days. Ask us, and we restore your app from a copy.

  • Dedicated servers Available

Your own machine, not shared with other customers, for workloads that need it.

  • Public API Available

Read your apps, their operations and backups with a workspace token, and order a backup from a script or CI.

  • Your own email server Available

Your app's email can go out through your own SMTP server instead of ours. Send us its details and we switch it over.

  • Resource graphs Soon

See your app's CPU and memory usage right in your dashboard.

  • More apps Soon

New open-source applications keep joining the catalog — the greyed-out ones above are next.

  • Choose your region Soon

Pick the region for a shared plan too — today shared plans run in Frankfurt, and only a dedicated server can run elsewhere.

Security

One account. Every way in.

  • Passkeys and passwordsOne touch with a passkey. The password is optional.

  • Built-in providers, or any OpenID Connect you addKeycloak and Okta go in from the admin panel, without code.

  • Two-factor and sessionsRecovery codes for the day the phone goes for a swim. Sign out the device you left at the airport.

Users & Teams

Teams see their own data. Only their own.

  • Four roles, invitations by emailOwner, Admin, Editor and Viewer decide who invites, removes and edits.

  • Filtered in SQLEvery query is limited to the active workspace. A forgotten WHERE can’t leak data.

  • Deletion that means itDeleting an account takes the person’s data with it, as GDPR asks.

  • Subscription per workspacePaid plans with Paddle: checkout, Webhook, a billing page with card, invoices and cancellation, and prices for the visitor’s country. Off until an admin enables the provider.

Your control panel speaks 12 languages.

Pick the one you're comfortable in — your choice follows you everywhere in the app.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

When can I sign up?

As soon as our final tests pass. We do not name a date until it is real — follow us and you will hear the day the doors open.

What can I run?

Pick any application from our catalog, choose a plan, and it's deployed as a running instance within minutes.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — cancel from your account whenever you like. Your app keeps running until the period you've already paid for ends, and we don't charge a cancellation fee.

Where is my data stored?

Shared plans run in the EU, in Frankfurt. A dedicated server runs in the region you pick when you order it, in the EU or the US. Copies of the data are always kept in the EU. Our infrastructure provider is Amazon Web Services.

Do you back up my data?

Yes. While your application runs, we copy its data on a regular schedule, at least once a week, without stopping it, and we also take a copy when we stop, upgrade or delete it. We keep each copy for 30 days, and if something goes wrong, we restore your application from any of them when you ask us. You can't restore from a copy yourself, so keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose. See what's on the roadmap

What happens to my app after I cancel?

It's stopped, not deleted: your app and its data are kept for 30 days, and you can bring it back online anytime simply by paying again. Once that window closes, we permanently delete it.

What if I'm not happy with my purchase?

Ask for a refund within 14 days of your first payment and you'll get it in full, no questions asked.
